Both studied at Salisbury College of Art in the early 1970's, and Chris doing an Art Foundation and later Textile design at Taunton College of Art and Mick doing photography. A growing family filled our lives for many years along with jobs as gardening with the National Trust,wholefood shopkeepers,childrens theatre groups ,conjurors, mask makers, toy makers, and antique dealers as well acting as roadies for our sons' band, the Hoax. An interest in pots from art potters down the ages sparked a desire to have a go ourselves and, after a couple of short courses, we have now set up our own pottery in the Wiltshire village of Great Cheverell on the edge of Salisbury Plain. Taking inspiration from country pottery from many countries as well as more contemporary influences we now are developing a range of both earthenware and stoneware items both decorative and useful.
